Mrs. Christy, Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. Pitman, Mrs. Young - Grade 2

This grant will contribute to the purchase of reading books and supplemental materials to provide a range of rich fiction and non-fiction text appropriate for the at-risk readers in 2nd Grade. The aim is to help students reach grade level reading standards while also providing supplemental materials for differentiated instruction and small group intervention of students reading below level at Grade 2. It is aimed at boosting the skills of the novice reader and ensuring that the needs of all students are met at all times. The materials will be reusable for years by all classrooms in grade 2.
