This school year we expect WEST will be asked to support technology, programming, and curriculum development through grants that improve and enhance learning, to ensure that specials’ teachers in music, art, health, and physical education have the tools they need to enrich students’ learning in new ways, and to provide valuable learning experiences. 

 

We also suspect that we will be called upon to help families struggling with financial hardship when it comes to the sometimes high costs of participating in extra-curricular learning opportunities. 

 

WEST is an all-volunteer organization that is supported by donations. Our work this year is especially critical to ensure that the district can continue to provide enhanced enrichment and to help our community members in need.
