Introduction

The main goal of this project is to provide flexible seating for students. Flexible seating allows all students to access the curriculum with the additional support they may require.

Grant Details

  • Offer a convenient seat that can be easily utilized in the classroom.

  • Support students with weak core strength and low muscle tone.

  • Offers flexible seating options to enhance student learning.

  • Help students maintain focus during whole-group and small group lessons.

Highlights

Allowing two BackJack chairs per classroom in the First Grade rooms gives students additional core support which encourages increased attention and focus throughout the day.
